Massage Experience
Twenty minutes in a Komoder Focus III 3D massage chair. Headphones on, eye mask down, door closed.
What it is
A twenty-minute full-body programme in a Komoder Focus III 3D massage chair. It works through your back, shoulders, neck, arms, hips, legs and feet, and the intensity is yours to set. We hand you noise-cancelling headphones, an eye mask and a blanket, and then we leave you alone.
It is not a therapist and it does not pretend to be. It is the easiest twenty minutes of switching off in the building.
Why people use it
Tension
Shoulders, neck and lower back, which is where most desk-shaped weeks end up.
After sitting all day
The programme moves through hips and legs as well, not just the parts you can reach yourself.
Calm
Headphones, eye mask, blanket, twenty minutes. Several members book it purely for this.
Easy to repeat
Two credits, no preparation and nothing to recover from. You can book two back to back.
How a session works
Choose your programme
The team will point you at a good starting programme on your first visit.
Set the intensity
Speed, pressure and focus areas are all adjustable. Adjust it mid-session if you want to.
Headphones on
Noise-cancelling headphones and an eye mask are there for you. Bring your own music if you prefer.
Twenty minutes
Nothing else to do.
Come back slowly
Sit for a moment before you stand up.
What to bring
Comfortable, loose clothing and shoes off. Leave rings, bracelets and watches with your things, and wear your hair down rather than up.

Add-ons
Sensate
- A small device that rests on your chest and uses infrasonic resonance with audio to slow your nervous system down. It lives in the Recovery Room and pairs well with a massage.
Omnilux Contour face mask
- A flexible medical-grade LED face mask, popular as an add-on during your twenty minutes in the chair. Ask the team to set you up.
Safety & screening
Chair massage suits most people, but the chair manufacturer (Komoder) sets real limits on mechanical pressure and heat, and they are worth checking before you book.
- Chronic joint inflammation, osteoporosis, joint dysfunction or a recent fracture
- Severe heart or circulatory problems, including deep vein thrombosis or a clotting disorder – your doctor’s consent is recommended
- A malignant tumour or an acute illness
- Recent surgery
- A severe skin condition, an open wound, or any part of the body currently under treatment
- A pacemaker or other electrical medical device
- Pregnancy – ask your doctor and tell the team
- Reduced cognitive or motor capacity, unless a doctor has approved it
- Reduced sensitivity to heat – the chair has a heated surface
- If you are being treated for any injury, ask your physiotherapist or doctor before booking
This list is a starting point, not medical advice. Freezlab does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. When you create an account you also confirm a general health declaration, which covers this list plus a few blanket conditions that apply to every session: any infectious disease, any chronic or acute illness in the last six months, and medication that affects your alertness or fitness to drive. If you are being treated for anything, ask your doctor before you book.
