Privacy policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what say you have over it.
Last updated September 2026. This page is written in plain English on purpose; if anything is unclear, ask us at info@freezlab.nl rather than guess.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Freezlab, Olympisch Stadion 36, 1076 DE Amsterdam, is the data controller. Questions go to info@freezlab.nl.
2. What we collect
- Account details: name, email, phone number.
- Billing details, handled by our booking and payment platform rather than stored by us directly.
- Your booking and session history, and your credit balance.
- Your health declaration answers, used to check whether a session is suitable for you.
- If you book a Charged Health Scan: your scan results, processed with our partner Charged Health and Medicavisie.
- Anything you tell us directly, by email, phone or in the club.
- Basic technical data from this website, covered in our cookie policy.
3. Why we process it
- To run your account, take bookings and manage your credits, which is necessary to provide the service you asked for.
- To check a session is suitable for you and to keep our club safe, which is both a contractual and a legitimate interest.
- To send you booking confirmations and service messages, and, only with your separate consent, marketing emails.
- To meet our bookkeeping and tax obligations under Dutch law.
4. Health data
Your health declaration answers and any Charged Health Scan results are a special category of data under GDPR. We only process them with your explicit consent, given when you complete the declaration or book a scan, and only to assess whether a session is suitable for you. We do not use health data for marketing, and we do not sell it.
5. Who we share it with
- Our booking and payment platform, which processes bookings, credits and payments on our behalf.
- Charged Health and Medicavisie, for anyone who books a Charged Health Scan.
- IT and hosting providers who keep our systems running, under a data processing agreement.
- We do not sell personal data to third parties, and we only share what a given provider needs to do its job.
6. How long we keep it
We keep account and booking data for as long as your account is active, and financial records for the period Dutch tax law requires, currently seven years. If you close your account, we delete what we are not legally required to keep.
7. Your rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it if it is wrong.
- Ask us to delete it, where we are not required to keep it for legal reasons.
- Restrict or object to certain processing, and ask for your data in a portable format.
- Complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, if you think we have got this wrong.
To use any of these, email info@freezlab.nl.
8. Cookies
Covered in full on our cookie policy.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and we expect the same from anyone we share it with.
10. Changes to this policy
We can update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page.
