Hydroxy
Molecular hydrogen and oxygen through a soft nasal cannula, with hydrogen-rich water alongside it.
What it is
Hydroxy is the quietest thing we do. You sit down, put on a soft nasal cannula and breathe a mix of roughly 66% molecular hydrogen and 33% oxygen, produced on site by our Hydrogen Technologies unit. A glass of hydrogen-rich water comes with it.
You will not feel a jolt. Most people read, answer messages or simply sit. It is the therapy members most often stack onto something else.
Why people use it
It stacks
Hydroxy is the easiest thing here to combine. Put it before cryo or after red light and you are still out in under an hour.
Oxidative stress
Molecular hydrogen is studied for its behaviour as a selective antioxidant. That is the mechanism most of the research looks at.
Low effort
No cold, no undressing, no recovery time. If you have ten spare minutes, this is the one.
Clear-headed
Many members describe the rest of the day as clearer. That is member experience rather than proof, and we would rather say so plainly.
How a session works
Sit down
Everyday clothes, nothing to change, nothing to bring.
Cannula on
Soft, light and sits under your nose. Your first one is included and stays yours.
Breathe normally
No technique, no pattern, no effort. Just breathe.
Drink the water
Hydrogen-rich water is part of the session.
Carry on with your day
Nothing to recover from.
What to bring
Whatever you arrived in. Your first nasal cannula is included and we keep it for you; a replacement is €2.50.

Add-ons
Omnilux Contour face mask
- A flexible medical-grade LED face mask, a popular add-on while you sit with the cannula in. Ask the team to set you up.
Sensate
- A small device that rests on your chest and uses infrasonic resonance with audio to slow your nervous system down. Easy to add while you sit with the cannula in.
What we know.
What we don’t.
Reasonably established
- Molecular hydrogen is a very small molecule that diffuses easily through the body.
- It is being actively studied for antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
- Sessions are low effort, need no preparation, and combine easily with everything else here.
Still open, or simply not true
- Human research is still early and mostly small-scale.
- Optimal dose and session length are not settled.
- We will not tell you it has no side effects and no contraindications. That claim is not supportable, and it used to appear on our own website.
Safety & screening
Hydroxy is well tolerated, but a blanket “no contraindications” is not something we are willing to claim. A few situations are worth a conversation first.
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding – ask your doctor
- Any chronic respiratory condition, including COPD, or if you use home oxygen
- Recent nasal or sinus surgery, a blocked nose or heavy congestion
- If you take medication that affects your breathing or oxygen levels, check with your doctor
- If you feel light-headed at any point, take the cannula off and tell the team
This list is a starting point, not medical advice. Freezlab does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. When you create an account you also confirm a general health declaration, which covers this list plus a few blanket conditions that apply to every session: any infectious disease, any chronic or acute illness in the last six months, and medication that affects your alertness or fitness to drive. If you are being treated for anything, ask your doctor before you book.
