Cryotherapy
- Pregnancy
- Blood pressure above 180/100 mmHg
- An acute heart attack or a heart attack within the past 6 months
- Unstable angina pectoris
- Cardiac arrhythmias
- Cardiovascular disease with symptoms
- Reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome
- A pacemaker
- Peripheral arterial disease or intermittent claudication
- Venous thrombosis
- An acute or previous cerebral haemorrhage
- Epileptic seizures
- Raynaud’s phenomenon
- Fever
- Cancer
- Lung conditions with symptoms
- Bleeding disorders
- Severe anaemia
- Claustrophobia
- Cold allergy
- Under 18 without consent from a parent or guardian
- Acute kidney or urinary tract disease
- Under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Red Light Therapy
- Medication that can cause a phototoxic or photoallergic reaction in combination with light
- Certain forms of cancer — check with your physician

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
- Pneumothorax
- Pulmonary hyperexpansion
- Eardrum perforation
- Fever
- Viral infection

- Airway disease, including asthma or COPD
- Blocked ear canals or sinuses
- A history of middle-ear problems or eardrum surgery
- Barotrauma or barotitis media
- Optic neuritis

- Decompression sickness
- Claustrophobia
- Use of Cisplatin, Disulfiram, Doxorubicin, Bleomycin, Mafenide, nicotine replacement, narcotic analgesics or steroids
